About Us
Founder & CEO - Alexa Mina
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and am a multi-certified nutrition and sports performance nutrition coach. I am also an international Olympic weightlifting medalist representing Lebanon and the second woman in history to compete and win a medal for Lebanon in Olympic weightlifting.
My journey into nutrition started through sports. After years in competitive cheerleading, I discovered CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting in 2016 and quickly realized how important proper nutrition was for performance, recovery, body composition, and overall health. Through learning how to fuel myself properly, I found a passion for helping others do the same!
Over the last 7+ years, I’ve worked with thousands of clients ranging from complete beginners to elite-level athletes, including Olympians, international weightlifters, and CrossFit Games athletes. My coaching philosophy focuses on helping people build sustainable nutrition habits while improving performance, confidence, health, and their relationship with food.
In 2023, I launched Cedars Nutrition with the goal of creating the kind of coaching experience I believed clients truly deserved: personalized, supportive, evidence-based, and individualized to each person’s lifestyle and goals.
At Cedars Nutrition, we believe nutrition should empower you, not overwhelm you. Whether your goal is improving your health, changing your body composition, fueling athletic performance, or simply feeling stronger and more confident, we’re here to help guide you every step of the way.
Come as you are. We’ll help you become the strongest version of yourself.

A little more about Alexa….
What does your daily nutrition look like?
I like to keep my nutrition fun, delicious, simple, and sustainable. I focus on hitting my protein + calories, fueling my training well, eating plenty of carbs for performance, and building meals around foods I genuinely enjoy without overcomplicating things.
What is your favorite macro hack?
Learning how to ADD to meals instead of constantly restricting them. Most people focus on what they need to remove, but simply adding protein, fruit, veggies, or volume to meals can make a huge difference in hunger, energy, recovery, and body composition without making nutrition feel miserable or overly strict.
What’s your favorite lift or way to stay strong/active?
Olympic weightlifting will always be my favorite. Nothing compares to the feeling of hitting a big clean & jerk or snatch. Outside of that, I love walks with my dogs and staying active in ways that support both performance and longevity.
Lead Coach Faith Wyand
My name is Faith, and I started my nutrition and fitness journey in 2017 through CrossFit and weightlifting. During that time, I worked through my own struggles with food anxiety and under fueling, which ultimately led me here. As a coach, I focus on helping clients build a healthy, sustainable relationship with food while still reaching their nutrition and health goals.

What does your daily nutrition look like?
I focus on eating balanced, nutrient-dense meals while still including foods I enjoy. Breakfast is usually homemade sourdough with eggs and cottage cheese. Lunch is a protein, a carb, and a vegetable. Pre-workout is oatmeal with fruit. Dinner is another balanced meal, and I like to try new recipes since I love cooking. Then I always end the day with a sweet treat!
What is your favorite macro hack?
I love front-loading protein earlier in the day and using a couple of anchor meals to stay consistent.
What’s your favorite lift or way to stay strong/active?
Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, and walks! Just doing whatever feels good and is fun.

What does your daily nutrition look like?
My focus each day is to plan out 3 meals with a protein source I enjoy, fresh fruits and veggies, and plenty of fiber. I plan snacks around my workouts with extra protein and carbs depending on my training load for the week!
What is your favorite macro hack?
Pre-log where possible to make busy days easier! Planning ahead is a game changer for ensuring you eat enough of the foods that will set you up for success.
What’s your favorite lift or way to stay strong/active?
Olympic weightlifting will always be my favorite. Outside of training, I love long walks and a yoga flow.
Sub Coach - Ashley Crowder
My background combines clinical healthcare and a range of performance training. I have a degree in Emergency Medical Science with biological studies. I work as a cardiovascular specialist in the Cath Lab day-to-day, where I see firsthand how lifestyle choices impact long-term health.
Movement has always been part of my life in some shape or fashion. I grew up competing in gymnastics and playing sports like soccer and volleyball, later dabbling in amateur boxing in college. CrossFit blended many things I liked, and I competed in that realm for a while. But ultimately, running is a major passion of mine. It’s taught me patience, discipline, and the value of true steady progress. I’ve completed multiple races from 5Ks to marathon distance and am currently training for a few ultra marathons. I am deeply passionate about helping people learn how to fuel for endurance events and understand the importance of nutrition in supporting their goals and hobbies.
My interest in nutrition and coaching grew after years of uncovering my own GI issues and discovering a gluten intolerance, I started learning more about how the body responds to food, stress, and training demands. Working with a nutrition coach was a pivotal turning point that lit a fire in me to help others become empowered in their journey as well. Understanding how to fuel properly, prioritize recovery, and support performance made a true measurable difference in my energy, results, and day-to-day life and I love helping others achieve the same.
Now, my goal is to help others create sustainable, individualized nutrition coaching—whether that includes macronutrient tracking or not—that aligns with their personal lives and goals. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. I work with clients to find what fits their lifestyles, supports their health, and helps them build habits they can maintain long term.

A Little More About Ashley…
What does your daily nutrition look like?
I try to find a balance of eating foods that allow me to feel and perform my best, but that I also enjoy with my husband, friends, and family.
Breakfast is usually more carb heavy surrounding my am runs & training. I’m big on bowls & variety with that. Rice, protein & veggies, & dressing of choice. Lots of snacking throughout the day and always ending the day with a treat or bowl of cereal.
What is your favorite macro hack?
I like to try to build balanced meals around protein, which I can do easily by always having staples on hand. Every week I keep a couple lbs of shredded chicken from the crockpot & lean ground beef cooked up and ready to throw in recipes or meals!
Favorite lift or way to stay strong and active?
No specific favorite lift- hence why I love CrossFit. The variety keeps it interesting and fun for me! But running will always take the cake. Just getting out and running with friends is my favorite!
